Barkat Frisian Agro sets up UAE-based subsidiary to expand exports and strengthen GCC presence

Barkat Frisian Agro Limited has announced the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates to expand its international operations and strengthen its position in Gulf markets.

In a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company said it had successfully set up Barkat Frisian Agro Global L.L.C-FZ in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai. The subsidiary’s registered office is located at Meydan Grandstand, Nad Al Sheba.

Barkat Frisian Agro stated that the new entity has been formed to “enhance the company’s international footprint by focusing on boosting export operations, increasing sales, and establishing a significant presence in the GCC region.”

It added that the move aligns with its broader strategy of strengthening the Barkat Frisian brand globally and delivering long-term value to shareholders. “This strategic move is aimed at strengthening the ‘Barkat Frisian’ brand and creating long-term value for the Company and its shareholders,” the notice said.
