At Brackly News, we value when world-class athletes offer honest insight into their careers — and Harry Kane’s latest remarks are a prime example. The Bayern Munich and England superstar recently addressed growing speculation about a potential move away from Germany, including possible transfers to the Premier League or Major League Soccer (MLS).
Kane, who has redefined what it means to be a striker in both English and international football, is now entering a more reflective phase of his career — and fans around the world are listening closely.
Kane’s Record-Breaking Career So Far
Since making his high-profile move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich in 2023, Kane has maintained his reputation as one of the world’s deadliest forwards. With 103 goals in 106 appearances, he’s erased doubts, silenced critics, and most importantly — won silverware, including the 2024–25 Bundesliga title.
He’s also still England’s all-time leading scorer with 74 international goals — a number expected to rise ahead of UEFA Euro 2028.

Is a Move to the Premier League or MLS on the Horizon?
In a recent interview, Kane shared that while he’s open to having a conversation about his Bayern future, he’s not actively seeking a transfer. However, he didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to the Premier League or eventually playing in MLS.
“If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back. Now I have been there a couple of years, I would say probably that has gone down a little bit… but I wouldn’t say never,” Kane admitted.
As for MLS? Not yet.
“MLS is too early for sure… it would be something later in my career when I am thinking about the last couple of years or so.”
It’s no secret Kane has ambitions outside of football — including becoming an NFL kicker one day. A move to the U.S. could align with that goal later in life. If you’re curious about how athletes are making post-career transitions, check out Athletes Unfiltered.
Extension at Bayern Munich Still a Strong Possibility
Despite all the transfer talk, Kane made one thing clear: he’s happy at Bayern — and a contract extension is not off the table.
“I love the manager, the team is strong, and my family is happy in Germany,” he shared. “If there was a conversation about extending, we’ll see… but I’m not rushing.”
This perspective echoes what many modern athletes value today: stability, long-term growth, and family happiness. It’s a theme we’ve explored in Brackly’s lifestyle section, where athletes discuss the human side of fame and success.
What Comes Next?
While Kane is unlikely to make a dramatic switch this season, the 2026 summer transfer window could bring change. With only one year left on his deal by then and a reported £57 million release clause, top clubs in both England and America may start knocking.
But as always, Kane remains grounded:
“As you get older, that [family happiness] becomes a big part of any decision you make… I’m going to enjoy what I’m doing and right now that’s at Bayern Munich.”
Stay tuned with Brackly News as we follow Kane’s journey — whether he stays in Munich, returns home to England, or eventually crosses the Atlantic for his next adventure.
