KARACHI — Khairpur Special Economic Zone (KSEZ) has been recognised as the best free zone for foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Asia-Pacific region, according to fDi Intelligence, a Financial Times publication.
The recognition was announced as part of the fDi Global Free Zones of the Year 2025 Awards, which rank trade zones worldwide across various categories and geographies.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah lauded the achievement, calling it a “global success for the Sindh government” and an “honour for Pakistan.”
He added that inclusion in the fDi Global Free Zones Awards represents a “milestone in Sindh’s industrial journey” and highlights the prominence of KSEZ among Asia-Pacific’s industrial zones.
