Lesco recovers Rs267m from defaulters in September drive

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has recovered over Rs267 million from defaulting consumers during September 2025 as part of its ongoing recovery campaign.

According to company officials, of the total Rs267.83 million collected, Rs183.89 million was recovered from privately-run connections, while the remainder came from other defaulting consumers.

Kasur circle emerged as the top performer, securing Rs113.89 million from 4,091 defaulters. The central circle ranked second with recoveries of Rs72.44 million from 1,564 consumers, followed by the eastern circle with Rs35.68 million from 421 cases.

Other circles also contributed to the campaign. Sheikhupura recovered Rs17.87 million, Okara Rs9.86 million, Nankana Rs7.83 million, the northern circle Rs5.18 million, and the southern circle Rs5.08 million.

Chief Executive Officer Lesco Ramzan Butt instructed recovery teams to press ahead with the operation against defaulters, stressing that action should continue “without any discrimination.”
