Liven Pharma commissions new blister packing line, lifts capacity by up to 15%

KARACHI: Liven Pharma Limited has brought a new blister packing line from China into full operation, expecting a 12–15% increase in overall production capacity, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday. The machine was commissioned last fiscal year and is now fully integrated into the company’s production system.

The company stated that packaging quality is projected to improve significantly, enhancing product presentation and consistency while potentially reducing spoilage and defects. Liven Pharma added that the increase in capacity and improved packing quality will support higher output volumes and improve operational efficiency.

Liven Pharma, incorporated as a private company in 1991 and converted into a public limited company in 1992, manufactures pharmaceuticals and allied products.
