National Savings announces winners of Rs40,000 and Rs25,000 Premium Prize Bonds

The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has revealed the results of the Rs40,000 and Rs25,000 Premium Prize Bond draws. 

In the Rs40,000 Premium Prize Bond draw, the first prize of Rs80 million was won by bond number 095187. The second prize of Rs30 million was awarded to three bond numbers: 529927, 627732, and 771967.

For the Rs25,000 draw, two winners claimed the first prize of Rs30 million each with bond numbers 473823 and 887874. Five other bondholders received the second prize of Rs10 million each. These bonds were numbered: 067775, 262383, 522071, 887973, and 992959.

 Additionally, 700 third-prize winners were awarded Rs300,000 each.

The Premium Prize Bond scheme, which has been operational since the 1960s, continues to attract investors seeking a risk-free savings option. However, the probability of winning remains low, with tax rates on prize money set at 15% for tax filers and 30% for non-filers.

The remaining 2025 prize bond draws are scheduled as follows:

• Rs1,500 Prize Bond: November 17, 2025 (Rawalpindi)
• Rs750 Prize Bond: October 15, 2025 (Muzaffarabad)
• Rs200 Prize Bond: December 15, 2025 (Lahore)
• Rs100 Prize Bond: November 17, 2025 (Hyderabad)
• Premium Prize Bonds:
  • Rs40,000: December 10, 2025 (Sialkot)
  • Rs25,000: December 10, 2025 (Faisalabad)
