NETSOL partners with govt to train 1,600 in AI, cybersecurity

KARACHI – NETSOL Technologies Limited, a global provider of IT and enterprise software solutions, has inked a landmark partnership with the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) to train 1,600 individuals in high-demand technological fields.

The agreement, formalized through NETSOL’s sub-subsidiary, the NETSOL Institute of Artificial Intelligence, was disclosed in a material filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday. The comprehensive training program will focus on critical areas including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Cybersecurity, aiming to develop a skilled workforce for the global technology market.

In a statement, Mr. Salim Ghauri, CEO and Founder of NETSOL Technologies, underscored the partnership’s strategic importance. “This milestone initiative aims to develop a robust pipeline of skilled digital professionals, aligning with Pakistan’s vision for a thriving digital economy,” Ghauri stated. “By addressing the urgent need for future-ready talent, the collaboration reinforces NETSOL’s ongoing commitment to national capacity building and global tech competitiveness.”

The initiative represents one of the most significant corporate-led skill development programs in Pakistan’s technology sector. It is expected to directly enhance the country’s human resource export potential and its ability to attract high-value IT projects.
