SECP to host inaugural International Capital Market Conference & Expo 2025

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in partnership with the Capital Market Infrastructure Institutions (CMIIs), will host the inaugural International Capital Market Conference & Expo in 2025. This landmark event, the first of its kind in Pakistan, will bring together global and regional stakeholders to promote collaboration, innovation, and growth in the capital markets.

The conference will feature capital market regulators, policymakers, and market infrastructure institutions from countries including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, and the USA, along with multilateral organizations and key players from Pakistan’s financial ecosystem. This initiative highlights the SECP’s role in fostering regional financial integration and positions Pakistan as a key player in global market development.

Over the past year, the SECP has engaged in strategic discussions with market institutions across Asia, culminating in this event. The conference will serve as a platform for sharing regulatory insights, best practices, and lessons on developing transparent and inclusive capital markets.

Alongside the conference, the Expo will showcase leading market participants such as asset management companies, brokerage houses, insurance providers, technology firms, and banks. It aims to promote investor education and raise awareness about Pakistan’s diverse financial products.

The International Capital Market Conference & Expo 2025 is a step toward advancing Pakistan’s financial stability and regulatory reforms, while strengthening its capital market through increased foreign investment and international collaboration.
