Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd (PSMCL) has increased the price of its discontinued Suzuki Ravi model by Rs100,000.
As per reports, this recent price hike brings the new ex-factory rate of the vehicle to Rs2.075 million, up from Rs1.975 million.
The price revision was communicated to authorised dealers in a circular issued on Wednesday, despite the model’s production having already been halted.
According to data from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA), there was no production of the Ravi in July and August 2025. However, sales during this period totaled 930 units, which were fulfilled from previous orders.
Pak Suzuki decided to discontinue both the Suzuki WagonR and Suzuki Ravi in June 2025, replacing the Ravi with the Every pick-up model.
The Suzuki Ravi, a well-known pick-up launched in the late 1980s, has reached a significant milestone with over half a million units currently on the road. The vehicle gained popularity in the early 1990s when then-Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif launched the Taxi Scheme, leading to the booking of over 66,000 units of the Suzuki Mehran, Bolan, and Ravi models. This move boosted local entrepreneurship and small business mobility, according to vendors.
