Systems Limited considers potential acquisition of IT services business

Systems Limited has announced its plans for a potential acquisition of an Information Technology (IT) services business, as disclosed by the company in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday. 

The decision comes after approval from the company’s Board of Directors in a meeting held on September 16, 2025.

“We hereby wish to inform you that as authorized by the board of Directors in the meeting held on Tuesday 16th September, 2025 at 8:30 PM, Systems Limited is considering a potential acquisition of Information Technology (IT) services business, subject to finalization of negotiations of commercial terms, completion of due diligence, execution of definitive agreements and receipt of regulatory approvals,” read the notice.   

However, the acquisition is contingent on the successful finalisation of commercial terms, completion of due diligence, the execution of definitive agreements, and the receipt of regulatory approvals. 

The company has committed to keeping the PSX updated on any material developments regarding the transaction.

Additionally, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Fayez Qamar Rasheed as the new Company Secretary of Systems Limited.

Systems Limited is a public limited company incorporated in Pakistan under the Companies Act, 2017. The company is principally engaged in the business of software development, trading of software and business process outsourcing services.
