TOMCL secures $7.5 million in export orders from China for cooked frozen beef

The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has secured export orders worth $7.5 million for cooked/heat-treated frozen boneless beef to be shipped to China during the 2025–2026 financial year, according to a filing by the company at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.

This development follows TOMCL’s continued investment in high-value product lines and reinforces its positioning as one of the pioneering Pakistani companies exporting value-added halal beef products to the Chinese market.

The company’s success is also attributed to its compliance with China’s stringent sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) protocols, ensuring the safety and quality of its beef products in accordance with Chinese regulations.

The company said that this breakthrough comes amidst rising demand in China for ready-to-process halal protein solutions, particularly from food service and retail sectors. It also highlights the deepening agricultural and food trade ties between Pakistan and China, facilitated by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The $7.5 million order strengthens TOMCL’s export revenue prospects for FY 2025-26, further establishing the company as a regional leader in halal meat exports.

The company’s strategic shift towards processed halal food products rather than commodity meat further aligns with its global expansion goals.
