Construction Operations Manager

Al-Anwar Builders is seeking an experienced, organized, and results-driven Construction Operations Manager to oversee construction operations, project execution, site activities, and coordination between project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and operational skills, with a proven ability to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Oversee day-to-day construction operations across multiple projects and sites
✔ Manage project schedules, resources, manpower, materials, and equipment
✔ Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
✔ Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved plans and timelines
✔ Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
✔ Identify operational challenges, delays, and risks and implement effective solutions
✔ Review project budgets, costs, procurement requirements, and resource utilization
✔ Supervise contractors and subcontractors and monitor their performance
✔ Ensure timely procurement and availability of construction materials and equipment
✔ Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews
✔ Maintain proper project documentation, reports, schedules, and operational records
✔ Implement quality-control procedures and ensure compliance with construction standards
✔ Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and ensure adherence to health and safety policies
✔ Coordinate with management on project status, operational issues, budgets, and key performance indicators
✔ Lead, supervise, and motivate construction teams to achieve operational and project objectives

Requirements

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in construction operations, project management, or a related field
✅ Proven experience managing construction projects, teams, contractors, and site operations
✅ Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, project scheduling, and site management
✅ Excellent knowledge of project planning, budgeting, procurement, and cost control
✅ Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
✅ Strong understanding of construction quality and safety standards
✅ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
✅ Strong organizational and time-management abilities
✅ Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and external contractors
✅ Professional attitude, accountability, and strong attention to detail
✅ Engineering, Construction Management, or a related degree will be preferred
